The Instability in Ukraine

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Saturday pressed Russia to stop backing separatists in eastern Ukraine and help oust them from government buildings seized in about a dozen cities and towns. Meanwhile, Russia denies it is fomenting the unrest in eastern Ukraine. But it did send its former human rights ombudsman to negotiate for the release of the observers as a representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
