Children are exploited and harassed everywhere in the world, but we don’t even have to look far to find those horrific acts among us. As with everything in this twisted society, money and influence can cover up the worst things under our nose.
It’s no secret that child actors have been molested in Hollywood for years.
Behind the acting scene, there has always been a horrific pedophilia problem. Infants have a dream of becoming a superstar, possibly because of the influence of media and television. At a young age, they start dragging their parents to modeling agencies. When these children get into the scene, they are responsible for their career at the age of as low as eight. This is a potential problem because they’re still figuring out who they are and what their role is in society. Most actors get a manager assigned. Not every manager is bad, but as with everything else, there are always bad apples in the batch that start building up trust with the parents.
They know that not every teenager is vulnerable, so they recruit as many as possible and find weak ones, this is called grooming. When trust builds up, they might invite the young actors to move in with the crew. Teens absorb their surroundings which, makes them prone to manipulation.
Executives know this, and some of them have been known to throw huge parties with drugs and celebrities, looking for handsome preteens attending the party like a Cheetah chasing its prey. Streets filled with cars from people attending the parties leaves a good impression. The motto would be to drink as much as humanly possible. Drugs like Valium, Vicodin, Marijuana, Ecstasy and more would be offered to people in attendance. Directors would push people attending the parties to take these drugs, if refused, cocktails would be offered.
Attendees reported the assumption of having their drinks spiked. Handsome teens would be picked out and invited to attend the after party. These would all so often turn into pool parties with the rule: No swimsuits allowed!
You had to go into the pool naked. They would also have a lot of investors coming around and going into the hot tub too.
Clients from ages 10-15 often get showed porn from their managers. It’s “clients having sex with the director,” they’d say. Power games are played trying to manipulate infants into believing anything the exec tells them. Most of these kids were not interested, but the supervisors just kept on drilling it into their vulnerable minds, leaving a scar that lasts the rest of their lives. Some child stars become depressed or commit crimes later in life that may be traced back to trauma acquired in their early career stages.
Elijah Wood called Hollywood out before
36-year-old Elijah Wood’s career started and took off at a very young age. Elijah called out Hollywood’s higher-ups for engaging in organized child sex rings.
He said: “Clearly something major was going on in Hollywood. It was all organized. There are a lot of vipers in this industry, people who only have their own interests in mind. There is darkness in the underbelly. What burns me about these situations is that the victims can’t speak as loudly as the people in power. That’s the tragedy of attempting to reveal what is happening to innocent people: they can’t be squashed, but their lives have been irreparably damaged.”
51-year-old Todd Bridges has spoken about being a victim of sexual abuse throughout the filming of Diff’rent Strokes. He appeared in the documentary An Open Secret where he talked about the twisted acts that happen behind closed doors.
“I cannot imagine why even one politician would object to it passing. Without these types of precautions, Hollywood will continue to attract pedophiles with an unmonitored playing field to commit their inhumane acts.”
Thankfully, all these stories are coming to light. Money and influence can only cover up most of these twisted events. People coming out about their horrific abuse experiences and sharing stories about what happened to them as child actors are making the guardians of these young infants cautious about what to look out for when they get their lovely kids into the acting scene.
I highly recommend you watch the documentary An Open Secret that interviews former child actors that want to tell their story!
